Brian Brown CALAMITY AND CATASTROPHE
Commemorating the Shoah – Commemorating the Naqba
Methodist minister Brian Brown was administrative director of the Christian Institute of Southern Africa when he and it were banned in 1977 by the apartheid regime.

A member of the Kairos-Britain Forum with its distinctive commitment to justice and peace in Palestine and Israel, Brian’s recently published autobiography ‘Born to be Free’ contrasts the pursuit of freedom from apartheid in his South African birthplace and the ongoing search for freedom of the Palestinian people.

Attendance:
The programme will commence with refreshments, including hummus, and we will have some poems and readings.
It is always helpful to know how many people may attend and it would be appreciated if you can email if you expect to do so but either way you will be more than welcome.

Cost: Donations to cover expenses

Free Car Park outside the ASHA Centre
