Maher Abu Seba

Maher Abu Seba lives in Al-Khader village. Pointing towards his property on the other end of the illegal settlement road, he explained:

“Five years ago, a group of settlers confiscated my house. Luckily, I managed to regain my property through a decision of the Israeli High Court.“

Maher emphasized that he was grateful to have so many volunteers helping him with planting.

“It’s great to see that there are still people who know about the injustices happening here, and want to do something.”

According to Maher the first harvest of the approximately 240 olive trees the volunteers planted can be expected in four to five years.
