Meeting of the Stafford – Beit Liqua Friendship Group – to include a showing of the DVD ‘Britain in Palestine 1917 – 1948’ which sets out how Britain became involved in Palestine and the role played leading up to the creation of the state of Israel. Produced by the Balfour Project, a study group aiming to shed light on this issue.
