The evening will include Palestinian food, a short film and the guest speaker – Dr Mona El-Farra. She is the Director of Gaza Projects with the Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA). Dr Mona is a physician by training and a human rights activist in the Gaza Strip. Dr Mona and her son were in Gaza when the bombing started. She is now with family in Manchester.
