Cina’s open garden 2022

12 June 2022 by admin in Blog

With a Palestinian flag flying over the barn, people poured down to Westbrook Farm to enjoy what has become a traditional annual event for supporters of Palestine and local gardeners.

As expected, it was a joyous gathering, wondering around the garden, sampling delicious cakes and, for gardeners, a lovely selection of plants for sale.

£2,500 was raised to continue Sumud Palestine’s support for the JAI Keep Hope Alive Olive Tree Campaign. The money will be spent supporting Palestinian farmers by giving them seedling olive trees to secure their land or to compensate for the loss of olive trees destroyed by Israeli settlers.
