Cina’s Open Garden in Aid of Sumud Palestine

15 June 2014 by admin in Blog

Cakes!

It didn’t rain but it wasn’t sunny but nothing can hide the glory of Cina’s garden which she has planned, developed and grown in a lovely moorland valley with spectacular views.

This year she included a plant sale and a lovely table of home-made cakes which were impossible to resist.

Urged on by Mohammed with Cana’s support, I spoke about Sumud Palestine to an assembly of people who gathered on the lawn and was glad that I did because it added a dimension to the occasion which many may otherwise have missed. Eighty people attended and the magnificent sum of £700 was raised.
