It didn’t rain but it wasn’t sunny but nothing can hide the glory of Cina’s garden which she has planned, developed and grown in a lovely moorland valley with spectacular views.
This year she included a plant sale and a lovely table of home-made cakes which were impossible to resist.
Urged on by Mohammed with Cana’s support, I spoke about Sumud Palestine to an assembly of people who gathered on the lawn and was glad that I did because it added a dimension to the occasion which many may otherwise have missed. Eighty people attended and the magnificent sum of £700 was raised.
