Palestinian Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies

12 March 2018 by admin in Blog

Over the last year, Sumud Palestine’s mental health project has focused on establishing a Palestinian Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (PABCT).
On Tuesday the 9th of June 2018 professionals from many places in Palestine will gather in Ramallah to launch the association.
The founding committee led by Sumud Palestine’s founder, Mohammed Mukhaimar, will present a draft constitution and terms of reference to be discussed and voted on by the members present. Sumud is sponsoring travel to and from a hotel hall in Ramallah where the meeting will take place.
The meeting will be opened by Mohammed Mukhaimar via Skype followed by Huandia Iseed and Farah Darwaze, who will chair the meeting and present the draft constitution. Following its adoption, the association will be inaugurated.
Sumud Palestine will remain committed to supporting the PABCT and the organising partners.
