The BDS Campaign arrives Stoke!

4 May 2014 by admin in Blog

On 4 May Deborah and Patrick Darnes leafleted Sainsbury’s in Stoke. They report that :

We did what we could as it was just us!

We managed 45 minutes before being moved on; security arrived with some staff and a PCSO. We decamped to the other entrance on the street.

Many were not interested but a fair few were. A woman mentioned Samud. And we gave out quite a lot of postcards.

We had a conversation with a young man who was aware and a Muslim man impressed with what we were doing. Another Asian man joined in and seemed interested.

“A good start.”
