Witnessing the Occupation

10 March 2016 by admin in Blog

“Witnessing the Occupation” was the title of an invitation to a Medical Aid for Palestinians reception in the Palace of Westminster on 3 March to be hosted by Sarah Champion MP. In the event Sarah was unable to be present but another MP reflected on his recent experience of a visit to the West Bank.
It was rewarding to see recognition of Sumud Palestine by MAP and CAABU and to renew acquaintance with Sir Vincent Keen and to talk, albeit briefly, with others committed to Free Palestine.

People departed in dribs and drabs and I enjoyed walking the corridors of the House of Commons virtually on my own and then through St James’ Park on a quiet night with not many people around.
