Tony Pearce gathered together an audience for “5 Broken Cameras” at Trinity Church in the centre of Stafford. As always the film made a considerable impact which we expect to follow up. Martin Lynch from the Walsall Kobar Friendship Association attended and reminded us (if we needed reminding!) that while support for Palestinians in Palestine and Gaza must be maintained it was equally important to work on our MPs and MEPs and to actively support the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions.
Campaign. We were also pleased to welcome Roger Oldfield, editor of Staffordshire Quaker. Roger ensures that Sumud events are publicised around the Quaker network.
